After settling down and having our son, I continued to write and started dressing the rooms of our home – much easier to fit! This endeavor took me to the interior redesign and home staging arenas where I became a Certified Staging Professional (CSP) (www.stagingtraining.com), Certified One-Day Decorator, and a Color with No Regrets Certified Consultant (CNRCC). Throughout my life I have always loved all things color – fashion, fabric, paint, photography, interior and exterior architecture, and landscaping. After running a successful staging and redesign company for several years, I decided that some of this really needed to be written down and shared with all those sellers that needed to get their houses ready to sell.  Enter Christine Rae, the founder of the Certified Staging Professionals and President and CEO of the CSPI who I collaborated with on Home Staging For Dummies. Besides being the consumate professional, she is a woman and wonderful friend, that really taught me the business. 

What you’ll find in the website, on the web-TV show and in my newsletters are my thoughts on what’s being done well and what’s being done poorly in houses for sale across North America. I'll also be asking for your opinions! You’ll see some great do-it-yourself ideas on making your house a home, decorating secrets and the easy, affordable and all-important steps we all can make to green our homes. You’ll also get occasional news stories that I think are worth commenting on.
